Ilha Brasileira (Brazilian Island)

Ilha Brasileira is a unique ecological territory located at the center of the Triple Frontier (Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina). The boat ride covers a 5 km route along the Quaraí River, offering stunning views of the confluence of the Uruguay and Quaraí rivers.

The Experience

During the boat trip, visitors can observe the rich flora and fauna of the region. The island is home to the first Mission Cross installed in Brazil, where annual masses are held during the city’s anniversary celebrations.

Upon arrival, visitors are treated to delicious fried fish, caught and prepared by local riverside residents, cooked over an open fire just like in the old days.
